Primavera Sound Expands to Two Weekends for 2022 Edition

Beloved Barcelona festival Primavera Sound have announced that 2022 will see the event take place across two weekends for the very first time.

Having been forced to cancel consecutive editions over the last couple of years, the organisers are promising to make up for what we missed with a new-look festival in celebration of the 20th anniversary.

In addition to two full weekends in the festival's home at Parc del Fòrum on 2-4 June and 9-11 June – each promising a distinct and different lineup – Primavera Sound 2022 will also see a spectacular edition of 'Primavera a la Ciutat', with more than 150 shows spread across Barcelona's finest venues from 5-8 June, between the two flagship weekends. What's more, the festival will be wrapped up in style on Sunday 12 June with a Brunch On The Beach event.

The lineup for the biggest edition of Primavera Sound ever seen will be announced next Tuesday (25 May), with a wealth of acts set to join recently announced Majorcan band Antònia Font at the landmark edition of one of Europe's biggest and best loved music festivals.
