Annie Mac Presents: Lost & Found Festival

Kickstarting summer on the Mediterranean island each year is Annie Mac's Lost & Found takeover. Showcasing an enviable lineup that spans house and disco, grime and garage, Lost & Found Festival does so across clubs, boats, beaches and castle parties, creating a sun-drenched dance paradise that's become one of the continent's most popular festival getaways.

World Club Dome Malta

Festival lineup: TBA

The famed EDM brand World Club Dome sets up stall in Malta's Floriana, which sits next to the island's capital of Valetta. The city streets will no doubt ignite with the sounds of world-class DJs from their neighbouring town, with a hefty mix of anthemic choruses and bass-heavy beats illuminating one of Europe's most scenic destinations.

Glitch Festival

Festival lineup: Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, Ben Klock, Honey Dijon

Sun-kissed house and disco in the day, and darker disjointed techno by night is how things roll at Glitch Festival. Still only five years old, the festival has already brought a wealth of big names to the island – Jon Hopkins, Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann have all played out in front of the stunning backdrop of cultural ruins and beautiful beaches, and will celebrate 2022's return with equal impressive names.

ABODE On The Rock

Festival lineup: Jamie Jones, Alan Fitzpatrick, Richy Ahmed, wAFF, Danny Howard, Lee Foss 

Celebrated London promoters ABODE make their way to Gozo once again this June for their third Maltese takeover, bringing with them the supreme sounds they've built their reputation upon. Crystalline coastlines, immaculate beaches, serene sunsets, and the DJs spanning house and techno to soundtrack the occasion.

Malta Music Week

Festival lineup: TBA

For six days in the summer, Malta becomes a haven of events celebrating international talent within the dance music scene. A series of club nights, street parties, and beach clubs dotted around the gorgeous Mediterranean island have seen major names like Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers, Eric Prydz and Pete Tong all soundtrack the sunsets and sunrises alike.

Drumcode Festival Malta

Festival lineup: Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Marcel Dettmann, ANNA, Maceo Plex, Ben Klock, Chris Liebing

Drumcode are now one of the world's most instantly recognised techno brands due to the continued excellence of founder Adam Beyer. Now the icon will make his way to Malta for the first time with his devout following, and plenty of similarly esteemed producers on the bill alongside him on a top-tier lineup of electronic music.

Summer Daze

Festival lineup: TBA

Summer Daze brings heavy-hitters from the world's of EDM, pop and house to both the charming Ta'Qali National Park and the coastal club Café del Mar, seeing the likes of David Guetta, Loco Dice, Alle Farben, Tyga, James Arthur all perform in previous years.

Oh, and Creamfields and BBC Radio's R1Dance are on hosting duties, so you're definitely in safe hands.

Isle of MTV Malta Festival

Festival lineup: TBA

In previous editions, Isle of MTV Malta has welcomed the likes of Lady Gaga, Calvin Harris, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Dutch EDM prince Martin Garrix and Grammy-nominated New Yorker Bebe Rexha take to the stage in Floriana's iconic Il Fosos Square. Globally renowned names fitting for MTV's globally renowned reputation.

Earth Garden

Earth Garden is a celebration of music, diversity and life, kicking off your summer buzz on the sunny Mediterranean island of Malta with a music lineup that covers world, ska, dub, reggae and electronic music.

But it isn't all about music at Earth Garden. Beyond the sonic wonders you'll also find an expansive programme of workshops, wellbeing and art covering the themes of cultural diversity, community, healing, creativity and inspiration inside the beautiful Ta' Qali National Park.

Malta International Jazz Festival

Festival lineup: TBA

Running since 1990, Malta International Jazz Festival is now a key date in the island's music calendar. The festival is held at the beautiful Ta' Liesse on the waterfront in Valletta, meaning it's unlikely you'll have heard jazz in a more scenic location. A far cry from smokey bars.
