Sziget Festival is a Hungarian music festival and one of Europe's most famous. Each summer it brings an incredible and diverse lineup of musical superstars to Óbuda Island in the Hungarian capital of Budapest.
Spread over a remarkable six days, Sziget's genre-spanning lineup covers everything from rock, indie and pop through to all varieties of dance music. In its acclaimed 28 edition history, Sziget has seen main stage sets from the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz, Kendrick Lamar, Muse, Ed Sheeran and Rihanna.
But Sziget doesn't stop at just the music, with the Hungarian festival also laying on all kinds of other activities for festival-goers to enjoy or take part in, such as a cinema, a theatre, contemporary circus shows, sporting events, and even a beach along the Danube in which you can swim in.
And after having to take two years off, the Sziget adventure will return to the Island of Freedom in summer 2022, promising to make up for lost time and deliver the best Sziget yet.
