German lakeside partying
Summer City Beats is an electronic music festival that takes place annually in Höxter, Germany.
Opening its gates for the eighth time in 2017, the festival brings house, EDM and electro to the scenic lakeside location that it made its home for the first time last summer.
Big name DJs combined with impressive lighting and visuals for or a day of all-out partying in the summer sun.

Hoexter-Godelheim is a leisure facility just south of Höxter city centre. The parkland, complete with swimming lake, offers a variety of watersports as well as other fun activities.

FAQs
Hannover Airport is the nearest international airport to Höxter. From there, you will need to take a train into Hannover Hbf before taking another out to Kreiensen. Lastly, another train will take you onto Höxter Rathaus. The Journey from the airport should take roughly two to three hours.
Höxter is accessible by rail from the rest of Germany and neighboring Europe, however, many routes will require at least one change, usually at Kreiensen or Altenbeken.
If you are arriving into Höxter Rathaus, bus number 591 passes closest to the festival site. Alight at Hochschule and from there, it is a ten minute walk to the festival site. Alternatively, a taxi from the city centre will take barely five minutes, while walking will take just twenty.
