Daytime lounging and nighttime skanking
Ruhr Reggae Summer Dortmund is a three day reggae festival at the German city's Revierpark Wischlingen, a lush area of parkland to the west of the city.
Reggae, dancehall, drum and bass and the best in Caribean hothouse, descend on the site for 72 hours of daytime lounging and nighttime skanking.
Beyond the music, Ruhr Reggae Summer also boasts an international market where you can pick up gems from around the world, as well as a selection of some of the best cuisine around.
What's more, festival-goers will also have the chance to hire boats on the lake, climb the trees at a high ropes course, establish who's the king of mini-golf, or relax at the spa.

Revierpark Wischlingen is an area of parkland to the west of Dortmund city centre. The area brims with walking trails, sport facilities, a lake, a treetop course and a spa.

The closest airport is Dortmund, which is a 30 minute drive away.
FROM THE AIRPORT BY TRAIN: Trains depart from the airport to Dortmund central station every hour, and the journey takes just over 2 minutes. A one-way fare is around €3. From Dortmund, S-Bahn services to the Dortmund-Wischlingen depart three times per hour. It's just 7 minutes away and vey cheap, and the Revierpark is then 150m away.
