MUTEK San Francisco is the American outpost of the critically acclaimed experimental music festival series.
As more and more festivals become mere money making ventures, MUTEK has consistently stayed true to its purpose of providing a platform for creatives outside the mainstream.
Taking place in various venues throughout San Fransisco, the festival showcases not only music but visual arts and digital tech, as well as hosting workshops and panel discussions to push the mediums forward.

The festival takes place in five venues throughout the city: California Academy of Sciences, Herbst Theatre, 1015 Folsom, The Midway, and Broadway Studios.
