The UK rock giant
Leeds Festival 2020 has unfortunately been cancelled due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19. You can read the festival's full statement here.
Leeds Festival is a huge UK rock music festival, showcasing the very best in rock music alongside a diverse lineup that spans from house and techno to grime, drum and bass and more.
Sibling to Reading Festival, the pair have become two of the country's most famous music festivals, establishing themselves as a rite of passage for young festival-goers.
Leeds Festival's history reads like a who's who of rock royalty, with icons such as Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Muse and Foo Fighters have all played the festival since its inception back in 1999.
But as mentioned, it isn't all about rock at Leeds Festival. The past decade has seen the festival look beyond the heavy guitar riffs, now embracing and welcoming artists from across the genre spectrum, while its side-programme of comedy and film screenings continue to impress.
With that in mind, it's little wonder Leeds Festival remains at the forefront of the UK music scene.
