An electric escape in rural Netherlands

In Retraite is a house and techno music festival in Ottersum, The Netherlands. The four day escape takes you to the rural edges of the country, to the beautiful grounds of a 17th century monastery.
Spending the days lounging in the sun, dancing to the music and relaxing in the woodland greenery, in the night the place transforms to a house and techno maze within the monastery, circulating through the rooms filled with house, deep house and techno music.
A complete surreal, immersive getaway to the countryside, this festival is the perfect escape for any electronic lover looking for something a little more chill.

The nearest international airport to In Retraite is Amsterdam Schiphol. From here, you can get a train direct to Ottersum, which is around a half hour walk from the festival site. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from here to the festival site.
If you are arriving by train into Nijmeegseweg, a taxi to the festival site will take just a matter of minutes.
There will be a car park for those driving to In Retraite, however, you will need to purchase a parking ticket before you arrive.
