Freemusic Festival is a two day lakeside music festival in Montendre, France.

The festival takes place on the banks and surrounding woodlands of the Lac Baron Desqueyroux, a scenic lake located to the south-east of Montendre (around 70km north of Bordeaux).

FAQs
BY TRAIN: Trains run directly to Montendre station from Bordeaux, Cenon, La Rochelle and Saintes. Bordeaux in particular is very well connected to the rest of France.
BY PLANE: Bordeaux Airport is the closest to Montendre. From there, take a bus to Bordeaux Saint-Jean station, followed by a train to Montendre.
The festival is around a 25 minute walk from the town centre, or a 30 minute walk from the station. A taxi from each will take less than 5 minutes.
