The influential dub and reggae band bring their unique live show to Germany
Fat Freddy's Drop – the influential dub and reggae band from New Zealand – touch down in Mannheim this June as part of their 2017 European tour.
Drawing influence from virtually every corner of black music, the seven-piece band's style has been characterised as fusing together elements of dub, reggae, soul, jazz, R&B and even techno.
Known for their improvised live shows that melt together jazzy harmonies with delay and reverb, they jump from funky dubs to heavy blues stomping and fat hip-hop beats with ease, all the while keeping a seamless groove going throughout.
