America's number one music festival

Coachella is a massive multi-genre music festival taking place in Indio, California. Up there with Glastonbury for best festival in the world, Coachella has to be on any music fan's bucket list.

Every year the festival curates an unparalleled lineup of the biggest and most influential artists across pop, hip hop, rock, electronic, and beyond.

Some of Coachella's most iconic moments have made their way into musical lore, such as Daft Punk's Pyramid stage in 2007 and Beyoncé's culture defining headlining set in 2018.

Beyond the three day main event, the festival will host intimate club shows throughout Los Angeles with artists from this year's lineup running from April 6-21.

California's Empire Polo Club has hosted Coachella since its very first edition in 1993. Those iconic palm trees have become just as much a part of the festival as each year's incredible lineups.

BY PLANE:

The closest airports to the festival are Palm Springs, Los Angeles and Ontario. 

The nearest airport is Palm Springs International Airport (PSP). If you are flying into here, take the 30 bus to B St at Buddy Rogers (28 minutes). Here transfer to the 111 bus and get off at Hwy 111 at Madison (57 minutes). Follow signs to the festival site from the bus stop.

There is also a shuttle bus system between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and the festival site. Please note that these shuttle services are not in any way connected with Festicket. More information can be found on the Coachella website. 

As well, there is an "Any Line, Anytime" shuttle system stopping at various hotels. More information can be found on the Coachella website. 

BY CAR:

If you are driving to Coachella, you will want to enter the Empire Polo Club (81-800 Avenue 51, Indio, CA 92201) onto your sat nav. Average driving times are as follows:

From Los Angeles - Take the I-10 E (2 hours)

From San Diego - Take the I-15 N (2 hours 45 minutes)

From Las Vegas - Take the I-15 S (4 hours 30 minutes)

From San Francisco - Take the I-5 S (8 hours 30 minutes)

This is an all ages festival.

Travel Packages will be fulfilled on site by Valley Music Travel. The name on VMT's will call list will match the name on the credit card used to purchase the package. There will be a table at the hotel where travel package guests pick up their festival tickets and shuttle passes, called the VMT will call or check-in table.

You will need to add your friend’s name to your room reservation so that they are able to check into the room when they arrive to the hotel. Your friend will be able to get a room key while you still have to visit us at travel package check-in to collect all festival wristbands. Please note: your name will not be in the hotel’s reservation system until much closer to the event, so you will need to wait until then to request to add your friend’s name to the hotel reservation.

As the original purchaser, you will have to request an alternate pick-up ahead of time, which will authorize a friend or family member to pick-up the package on the purchaser’s behalf and have access to the hotel guest room. Once your friend checks in, they must pick up and distribute all package elements accordingly. We recommend having your friend leave the extra wristband(s) in the room safe. Alternate pick-ups incur a $100 processing fee. Travel Packages will be fulfilled on site by Valley Music Travel, and alternate pick-ups can be processed in advance through VMT up until to 2 weeks prior to the event date. Any alternate pick-ups that need to be authorized after Friday 3/29 will need to be done on-site. In order for an on-site alternate pickup to be accommodated, the new guest will need to bring a photocopy of the original purchaser’s valid photo ID, a photocopy of the credit card used to purchase the package, as well as a note from the purchaser authorizing the new guest access to the travel package. They will need to present these items and pay the $100 fee at check-in via credit or debit card. Other payment forms will not be accepted.
