Swedish House Mafia

Swedish House Mafia

From 2008 onwards, Swedish House Mafia made up of Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastien Ingrosso dominated both the charts and dance music festivals, undeniably changing the cultural landscape by forcing EDM into the mainstream domain.

With electronic dance music no longer confined to club nights and subcultures, Swedish super-group ensured that EDM became the biggest music phenomenon of its era; creating a legacy with chart-topping tracks like 'Don't You Worry Child' and 'Save Tonight', EDM arguably became the single biggest musical movement for over a decade.

Shocked and dumbfounded were apt ways to describe how fans, critics, and the music industry felt when the trio announced in 2013 that their headline performance at Ultra Music Festival that year would be their last.

Luckily, after some years, however, they reunited; major global stadium and festival appearances awaited with headline slots booked in at Creamfields, Ultra Europe, Tinderbox, and Open'er Festival in 2019.
