When this group of friends from Sheffield, in the north of England, burst onto the scene it was clear they had something special to offer. The hype surrounding their earliest releases was off the charts, with their first album Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not still the fastest-selling debut in UK chart history.

What's more, iconic early appearances at the likes of Reading & Leeds confirmed they were a live act to be reckoned with, and more than a decade on it's fair to say they have delivered on that early potential.

With each of their six albums to date, Arctic Monkeys have offered up a new batch of fan-favourites, and their ongoing evolution makes them one of the finest bands of their generation.

As far as festivals are concerned, this has translated to them being rightfully booked to top the bill at some of the biggest events across the globe – Benicàssim, Reading & Leeds, Primavera Sound, Austin City Limits, Hurricane & Southside, and two headline sets at the iconic Glastonbury Festival in 2007 and 2013, to name just a few.
