Liam Gallagher
As one of the most recognisable (and outspoken) British artists in popular culture since the 90’s, Liam Gallagher has returned to his rightful place at the forefront of British music after a few years away from the limelight.
Formerly the frontman of one of Britain’s most successful bands ever, Oasis, Liam Gallagher took the decision to venture solo after an ill-fated couple of albums with previous band Beady Eye once Oasis announced their decision to split indefinitely.
Controversy typically followed Liam Gallagher and elder sibling Noel throughout their career, but Liam’s wiser and more humble approach within the media nowadays has seen a new-found respect from the British public, with his debut solo album ‘As You Were’ receiving both critical and commercial acclaim topping the UK Album Chart in 2017.
Singles ‘Wall Of Glass’ and ‘For What It’s Worth’ have already become festival favourites, so throw these in the mix with Oasis classics ‘Wonderwall’, ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’, and ‘Live Forever’, and there’s a setlist waiting to be delivered with LG’s typical swagger and passion.
Blistering performances at Isle of Wight, TRNSMT, and Rize festivals in 2018, as well as Benicassim and Les Eurockeennes further afield saw Liam Gallagher reclaim his title as the rock ‘n’ roll star heavyweight to beat.
Winning NME’s ‘Godlike Genius’ award in 2018 further cemented the fact that he is one of the remaining living legends in rock music today.
