VOA 2022: Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold and Bring Me the Horizon to Headline

Generation-spanning metal superstars Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold and Bring Me the Horizon have been confirmed as headliners for the next edition of VOA Heavy Rock Festival, taking place in Lisbon on 30 June and 1 July 2022.

After an enforced two-year pause, the legendary Portuguese festival returns next summer for another gathering of rock and metal in its myriad heaviest forms.

Also heading to the western reaches of the Portugal's capital to perform across the weekend in the historic Estádio Nacional are a mix of internationally renowned acts, including American metalcore favourites Killswitch Engage, German thrash metal legends Kreator, Japanese electronic-influenced outfit Crossfaith, British rockers Sylosis, and Portugal's very own industrial metal veterans Bizarra Locomotiva.
