Festival season 2021 may have ended recently but, believe it or not, there are actually less than six months till Coachella's triumphant return in April 2022. Having been unable to take place since 2019, the upcoming edition will truly be a sight for sore eyes and a sign that normalcy is continuing to return.

Back in August, Coachella co-founder Paul Tollett revealed in an interview with the LA Times that 2020 planned headliners Rage Against The Machine and Travis Scott will be back atop the 2022 bill. Now another piece of the lineup puzzle has fallen into place as the festival have announced that EDM supergroup Swedish House Mafia will make a triumphant return of their own at the Empire Polo Club for Coachella 2022.

The legendary DJ trio, comprised of Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso, called it quits in 2013 after conquering the dance music world with hits like 'Save The World' and 'Don't You Worry Child.' Reuniting with a legendary set at Ultra Music Festival in 2018, the group played a handful of massive reunion shows before having to shut things down like the rest of the world due to COVID-19.

With this announcement you can bet their plans to save the world will get back on track in 2022, all starting off with a can't miss set at Coachella.

Coachella 2022 takes place April 15-17 & 22-24 in Indio, California. Find more info on our Coachella 2022 guide and book your Coachella 2022 passes and accommodations here
