Promiseland 2023

Main Beach, Australia

Promiseland brought leading names from the realms of R&B, reggae, Afrobeats and amapiano to Australia's Gold Coast for the first time in 2022. After the success of the inaugural edition, the festival have revealed an even more promising and impressive assembly of stars for 2023.

Leading the first phase lineup is headliner the legendary Ms. Lauryn Hill - the hip-hop and R&B firebrand will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the lauded The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, her debut (and only) solo album in what will mark Hill's first Australian performance in over four years.

Joining the former Fugee in Doug Jennings Park are Afrobeats trailblazers Davido and Tems, both of which will be making the journey from Nigeria to Queensland on the weekend of Saturday, September 30th and Sunday October 1st.

The likes of Koffee, Fireboy DML, Arya Starr, ONEFOUR, UK upstart Kojey Radical, and Kiwi talents L.A.B and Stan Walker have also been announced, with two major mystery guests still to be revealed.

Over 21,000 attended Promiseland's debut outing last year in what was a sell-out for the new festival, and judging by 2023's current roster tickets are expectedly to fly out this time too.
