With two weeks to go until the doors open for Comic Con Portugal 2019 – the country's biggest celebration of pop culture, covering film and television, video games, comics, anime, cosplay, music, and more – another superstar name has been added to the lineup.
Millie Bobby Brown, best known as Eleven from hugely successful Netflix show Stranger Things (for which she received Emmy Award nominations aged just 13) will make an appearance on the final day of the four day event, Sunday 15 September.
As well as the release of Stranger Things season three, 2019 also saw her appear in her first movie as a star of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, a role she will reprise in the upcoming sequel Godzilla vs. Kong.
She joins a wealth of creative talent from across all forms of media at the event, including The Hunger Games and Vikings star Alexander Ludwig, Battlestar Galactica's Tricia Helfer, Oscar-nominated animator and cartoonist Bill Plympton, best-selling author Richard Zimler, and Benedict Wong, best-known to many as Wong from Doctor Strange, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, to name just a few.
