Kultureland 2022: New Festival Brings Burna Boy to Toronto

Toronto has got itself a brand new music festival, with the recently-unveiled Kultureland promising to bring a musical melting pot of Afro-fusion, Latin Urbano, dancehall and R&B music to Markham Fairgrounds on August 6-7.

The first artist confirmed to appear at the debut edition is the African Giant himself, global megastar Burna Boy. The GRAMMY Award winning Nigerian artist will play the festival on Saturday 6 August, rounding off the Canadian leg of his Love, Damini Summer 2022 Tour with this headline show.

The exciting new event also promises to include art exhibitions, an e-sports arcade, international cuisine, interactive activities, and exclusive merchandise, alongside an eclectic lineup of acts still to be announced.
