Coldplay to Headline Rock in Rio Brasil 2022

Another global heavy-hitter has been added to the lineup for Rock in Rio Brasil 2022, with Coldplay now confirmed to be headlining the festival's iconic main stage on Saturday 10 September. Also performing that day will be Camila Cabello and Bastille.

After more than 20 years in the game, the British band have become one of the biggest in the world, consistently selling out stadiums and headlining the biggest festivals across the globe.

Now, as part of their new eco-friendly and sustainable world tour in support of newly released ninth album Music of the Spheres, the four-piece will stop off in Rio de Janeiro for an appearance at one of the world's biggest festivals.

They join Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Iron Maiden, and Dua Lipa at the very top of the bill for the 2022 instalment, taking place across two consecutive weekends at the end of next summer; 2nd-4th and 8th-11th September.
