One of the most famous festivals in the world, Bonnaroo have taken it upon themselves to keep the spirit of 1960s festivals alive well into the 21st century.
Steeped in the tradition of jam bands, blues, and Americana, the festival have been able to keep the hippie dream alive while modernising for modern audiences.
With this balancing act in full force in 2019, Bonnaroo have just revealed one of the year's most interesting lineups so far.
Leading the way are Bonnaroo vets Phish who are actually doing a triple dip, headlining Friday and coming back on Sunday for two more sets. Joining them atop the bill are Childish Gambino, Post Malone, ODESZA, and The Lumineers.
Other notable names are Solange, Cardi B, Grand Ole Opry, BROCKHAMPTON, The National, and comedy trio The Lonely Island.
Check out the full lineup below and marvel at how the festival have threaded the needle between old and new.
