Awakenings & Time Warp present Connect 2018: 5 Sets To Get You Pumped

Awakenings & Time Warp present Connect 2018: 5 Sets To Get You Pumped

Awakenings & Time Warp present Connect 2018

Back in May, the expectedly imperious lineup for the initiatory edition of Awakenings and Time Warp present Connect was announced with Adam Beyer, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, and Richie Hawtin, to name but a few, featured on the bill.

We're certain this got you licking your proverbial lips in anticipation, albeit with five months of watching the clock slowly tick agonisingly down.

Praise be, the agony is nearly over with October 13th on the horizon.

Both institutions in their own right, Awakenings and Time Warp emphatically stage show-stopping parties on an annual basis with their legendary festivals and Connect looks to continue the trend.

To give you a mere glimpse of what to expect, we've assembled a list of recent sets at the aforementioned big-hitters' previous festivals from the artists you simply cannot afford to miss.

Buzzing is an understatement.

1. Adam Beyer, Time Warp (2017)

Mannheim's Maimarkthalle played witness to Beyer's distinctly Swedish brand of techno.

Clinical, functional, but wholly danceable.

2. Len Faki, Awakenings (2016)

Plying his trade as Berghain's resident DJ for numerous years, you'd expect Faki to pull out the stops on big occasions.

Exhibit A: Awakenings 2016.

3. Nina Kraviz, Time Warp (2017)

2017 was a massive year for Nina Kraviz. Appointed Mixmag's 'DJ of the Year', she became one of the most revered DJ's on the planet, and the Russian's prowess was on display in fine fashion at last years' Time Warp.

4. Joris Voorn & Kölsch, Awakenings (2018)

Kölsch won't be accompanying Voorn at Connect, but it's safe to say that the veteran will hold the fort with his exceptional blend of progressive and deep house.

5. Amelie Lens, Awakenings 2017

Uptempo floorfillers are how Amelie Lens took the scene by storm, so we don't expect her to let up at the Messe Düsseldorf.

Lauded as Belgium's most exciting export within the realms of techno, her mark will be well and truly stamped come October 13th.
