Lewis Capaldi
To say Lewis Capaldi has had a rapid rise to fame would be an understatement. After releasing his debut EP Bruises in 2017, Capaldi was quick to become a household name, becoming the fastest unsigned artist to reach 25 million plays on Spotify. Soon after, the Scottish singer-songwriter signed to Virgin EMI Records and Capital Records.
After touring with Rag’n’Bone Man, Sam Smith and making countless guest appearances for other big names, he announced his fourth headline tour. This being his first sold out tour filling 2,000 capacity venues, including two nights at Barrowland Ballroom Glasgow, for what was his hometown show.
The 22-year-old landed his first number one with ‘Someone You Loved’ in early 2019, spending seven weeks as the UK’s number one single.
During Capaldi's fast track to stardom he has gained huge recognition. He was named Vevo's Artist to Watch in 2018, and has won several awards, including Best Breakthrough Artist twice.
As well as selling out his tours, Lewis Capaldi has played a number of festivals over the past two years, most notably Lollapalooza, Reading and Leeds and TRNSMT, among others.
