Trance Music Festivals

Trance

Trance music is an electronic music subgenre that originated in the 90s in Germany, England, and a state in India called Goa. With its 110-115 BPM tempo, build up and release, long tracks, and separation of voice and instrument, trance is meant to put people in... well, a trance. Vocals in trance music are most typically sung by women and is associated with synthesizers, keyboards, sampling, and drum machines.

Trance festivals include the likes of Transmission, World Trance Festival, A State of Trance Festival Utrecht and Indian Spirit.

From those, trance fans can find their idols such as Markus Schulz, Paul van Dyk, Vini Vici, Neelix, Above & Beyond and Underworld.
