Pop

Love nothing more than a good ol' singalong? If you're nodding your head, you're probably a fan of pop music. But then again, pop music is a pretty broad genre – from Radio 1 and Top 40 hits to disco gems and rock anthems, everyone's perception of pop music can be different.

The same logic applies when searching for pop music festivals too. If you're into your Little Mixes, Take Thats and Shawn Mendeses, Liverpool's Fusion Festival is about as perfect as you'll get.

Love a bit of EDM to go with, then Hungary's Balaton Sound or Portugal's MEO Sudoeste will be like heaven on earth. Big Sean and Rita Ora went back to back with David Guetta and The Chainsmokers at Balaton in July 2018, while Marshmello was joined by Jason Derulo at MEO. David Guetta is also playing Soundscape Festival in June 2019, taking place in Coventry's Ricoh Arena, along with Anne-Marie, Years & Years and Clean Bandit.

Beyond those, festivals such as Sziget, Lollapalooza and Rock in Rio all have lineups with a healthy dose of pop music on their diverse programmes, meaning there's no excuse to not get belting out those bangers.
