Leeds Festival is one of the UK's most renowned rock music festivals, simply put. Each year, the Yorkshire-based giant welcomes a show-stopping roster of the finest rock and pop acts, with a diverse billing that also spans house, drum and bass, metal, techno, grime, and much more.

Sibling to Reading Festival, the pair have become two of the country's most famous music festivals, establishing themselves as a rite of passage for young festival-goers celebrating over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Leeds Festival's previous lineups read like a who's who of rock music royalty, with icons such as Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blink 182, Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters having all topped the bill since its maiden voyage back in 1999.

The past decade however has seen the festival look beyond the heavy guitar riffs, now embracing and welcoming artists from across the genre spectrum such as Kendrick Lamar, Dave, Halsey and Stormzy. That said, it's little wonder Leeds Festival remains at the forefront of the UK music scene.

The nearest airport is Leeds/Bradford International Airport (LBA). From here you can take a bus (number 757) to the city centre (30 minutes).

The festival will be operating shuttle services from a layby (Eastgate) just around the corner from Leeds Station and near to the bus & coach station on St. Peter Street.

Les festivaliers véhiculés pourront suivre les panneaux indiquant les différents parkings ou aires de dépose-minute non loin du festival. Un ticket coûte 10 £ lorsqu'acheté à l'avance ou 20 £ sur place.

There are no age restrictions at the festival, however those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Those under 12 are able to enter for free.

All reasonable attempts are made by the festival to reunite lost items with their owners. After 6 weeks, unclaimed items will be donated to charity (or in the case of passports, bank cards and driving licences, returned to their respective bank or passport/DVLA office).

For site bars and for purchasing cigarettes, there is a 'Challenge 21' policy - This means that if you look under 21 you may be asked for ID. The following are accepted forms of ID:

A passport
An EU photocard driving licence
A proof of age card bearing a PASS hologram
A Ministry of Defence identity card
A National Identity card issued by an EU member state

Le festival dispose de nombeux bars sur place (seules les espèces seront acceptées).

Les festivaliers sont autorisés à prendre de la nourriture pour leur consommation personnelle, et des bouteilles d'eau/de boissons non-alcoolisées, non-ouvertes et de 500 ml maximum.

Des distributeurs de billets seront disposés sur le site du festival (voir la carte du site). Des frais supplémentaires seront appliqués à chaque retrait.

Oui, les festivaliers pourront louer des casiers. Les réservations doivent être effectuées à l'avance.

Les casiers verrouillables ont chacun des ports USB pour recharger les portables (un chargeur par casier). Veuillez emporter vos propres cordons USB.
