Switzerland's largest city welcomes global and diverse talent

Zürich Openair is a multi-genre festival in Switzerland's largest city, producing a lineup consisting of rock, indie, hip-hop, electronic, and pop music's most celebrated artists.

Year on year, the lineup is as diverse as it is impressive, seeing Kendrick Lamar, Liam Gallagher, Die Antwoord, Imagine Dragons, Adam Beyer, and alt-J headline in 2018's edition.

Split between three stages, the timetable is expertly scheduled so no major artists clash, offering the opportunity to consume all facets of the assorted music on display.

With circus acts and performances alongside a varied array of international cuisines at your disposal, there's more than simply music to sink your teeth into.

Though Bern is the country's capital, Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland. To the north of the city centre, the festival site is right next to the airport.

FAQs

Zürich Kloten Airport is the largest in Switzerland, and the festival site is within touching distance of the airport's southern corner. Tram lines 10 and 12 run from the airport every few minutes, and it's a 5 minute journey to Bäuler station, which is the festival site.

The organisers recommend that drivers park at the airport and then take the tram.

By train, Glattbrugg Bahnhof is a very short walk from the venue.
