Music greats come to Gothenburg

Way Out West is one of Sweden's most celebrated music festivals, each year bring a diverse lineup of rock, indie, hip-hop and dance acts to its secluded woodland setting in Gothenburg.

Since its inception in 2007, Way Out West has gone onto win a host of awards, particularly on its passion for sustainability which runs throughout its production, as well as its inclusive and intimate atmosphere.

FAQs

Göteborg Landvetter Airport is east of the city centre, with the easiest way into Gothenburg being the Flygbussarna bus service. Buses depart three times per hour, take just under half an hour and cost 7k KR (roughly €8).

The Slottsskogen can be reached by a 15-minute tram from the city centre. Lines 1, 2 and 7 depart from Göteborg Brunnsparken every five minutes, and the Göteborg Botaniska Trädgården stop is at the south end of the park.
