More than a decade of hard-hitting rock

VOA Heavy Rock Festival is one of Portugal's biggest and best known festivals for hard rock and heavy metal music, taking place in the country's capital city of Lisbon.

Since the first edition more than a decade ago, the festival – formerly known as both Vagos Open Air and VOA Fest – has consistently showcased fan favourites and established bands from the scene.

As Portugal's capital, Lisbon is well connected across the country by rail and bus, as well as being home to a major international airport.

Once in the city, you take a train from Cais do Sodre to Cruz Quebrada (around a 15 minute walk from the venue), or a taxi will take around 10 minutes from central Lisbon.
