Sweet summer sounds at Meco Beach
There’s a double celebration on the cards down Portugal way this summer - an event rock, indie and electronica fans won’t want to miss.
Just minutes from the beach and capital city, Super Bock Super Rock will be cutting the cake for its 20th anniversary whilst blowing out the candles for its 5th birthday at its idyllic Herdade do Cabeço da Flauta location.
Three days of wild rockers, electronica game changers and axe-slinging kings will be complemented by decent bars, heavy sound systems and 40km of fine, empty shoreline, courtesy of Meco Beach at Sesimba.
With thermometers peaking in July too, the event is the perfect marriage of music and meditative holiday time, as ticket-holders chill out on the sands during the day, before the bands start up after the siesta.
