Germany's rock and pop sensation
Southside Festival is a major German rock and pop festival. Sister to Hurricane Festival, in the north of the country, with which it shares its lineup, the weekender attracts huge names to its former military airbase.
Although Southside's core is inherently rock-centric - think Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, Green Day then you'll get an idea of their previous headliners. The festival has also begun welcoming a host of stars from the dance music scene, including Axwell ^ Ingrosso, Boys Noize and crowd favourite Fritz Kalkbrenner in recent years.
2022 will welcome supreme headline performances from The Killers, Kings Of Leon, Martin Garrix, twenty one pilots, Deichkind, Seeed, and dozens more bands spanning rock, hip-hop, pop, indie, and electronica.

BY TRAIN: The best station to get the train to is Tuttlingen, from where the festival will be operating a shuttle service to and from the festival site.
Children 6 or under are not allowed at Southside, and those 18 or under must carry written permission with them at all times. This can be downloaded from the festival's official site.
Don’t worry if you forgot something, there’s a market at the festival site which sells most of the essential things.
