The influential electronic music festival

Sónar Festival is a Spanish dance music festival, held each summer in the sunny coastal city of Barcelona, treating music fans to a weekend of house, techno and alternative electronic music.

Sónar champions underground musical talent – alongside forward-thinking technology, art and innovation – that is spread across Sónar by Day, Sónar by Night and its technology conference Sónar+D.

Since its inception nearly 30 years ago, Sónar has gone onto become one of electronic music's most influential brands, now hosting satellite events across the globe and inspiring a week of parties in the city known as "OFFSónar".

Venues range from an outdoor plaza and exhibition centre to clubs and bars (and even rooftops) as the festival takes over the beautiful coastal city of Barcelona, on Spain's Costa Brava.
