Europe's greatest show on snow

Snowbombing bills itself as "Europe's greatest show on snow" as each April it brings some of music's finest names to the incredible Mayrhofen ski resort in Austria.

Setting up for a week of slopeside partying, Snowboming's diverse lineup of rock and indie through to house, garage and more blares out from slopeside stages, igloo raves, street parties and even enchanted forests. And that's before we even mention the après ski shenanigans.

And when it comes to those slopes, you're in good hands. Mayrhofen ski resort is regarded as one of the best skiing and snowboarding areas in Europe – with 605km of pistes, Europe's steepest slope, 20km of cross-country skiing, the Vans Penken Snowpark and access to the Hintertux Glacier.

Now you know why they call it "Europe's greatest show on snow."

Set in the Zillertal Valley, Mayrhofen provides the perfect snowy backdrop to this fun-filled festival.
