Idyllic sights and sounds on the Italian coast

Siren Festival is an indie music festival set along the stunning coastline of Vasto, Italy. With stages nestled amongst ruins, atop the hillsides, on the beaches and amongst the rustic charm of the town's streets, there is an amazing mix of locations to enjoy authentic and genuine musical talent.

As well as this, the town itself offers an array of cultural hotspots, delicious food and wine, water-sports along the Adriatic coastline and adventurous hill-side opportunities, creating a unique experience that goes above and beyond just the music.

Previous artists to have taken to these stages include Mogwai, I Cani, Editors, Gold Panda, James Blake, Jon Hopkins, The Notwist, Verdena, The Pastels, John Grant, The National and more.

Vasto is a stunning coastline town that is full of rustic personality and idyllic views. With the festival inhabiting an array of locations, including ruins and hilltop peaks, the town is a superb backdrop for the music.

FAQs

BY PLANE:  The nearest airport to the festival is Abruzzo International Airport, 65km away. It is served by a number of budget airlines including Ryanair.

From Abruzzo International Airport, take bus 38 into Pescara city centre, and then another bus onto Vasto. There are a number of trains direct from the city to Vasto as well.

Another option is Naples International Airport, which is 180km from the festival, and again there are both buses and trains that run from Naples to Vasto.

BY TRAIN: There are direct trains from Rimini, Ancona, Foggia and Bari, with buses available from Rome.

BY CAR: Those driving can reach Vasto from highway A14 Bologna-Taranto by exiting at the toll at Vasto North or Vasto South. If driving from the north, take the highway A14 in the direction of Ancona, exit at Casalbordino / North Vasto and follow signs to Vasto on the SS 16 Adriatica. If you're approaching from the south, take the highway A14 towards Pescara, exit at Montenero di Bisaccia / South Vasto / San Salvo, continue on SS 650 in the direction of San Salvo Marina, then onto SS 16 following signs to Vasto.

These have not been officially announced yet, however last year the festival started at 19:00 on Thursday and ended at 22:00 on Sunday.
