A mancunian musical institution

Although sharing its name with a certain britpop classic, the Parklife Weekender has turned its heels on Blur by setting up residency in the heartland of their greatest rivals, Oasis.

Now a staple of the Manchester music scene, the weekend has grown into one the UK's most diverse musical events, showcasing household DJs backed by renowned clubbing brands such as RA, Chibuku and Bugged Out!, who'll spin tracks alongside indie divas and urban & hip-hop legends.

Already announced for 2015 are Disclosure, Jackmaster, Mark Ronson, Nas and many many more, who will soundtrack a weekend filled not just with music, but with pure variety; we're talking themed chill out zones, live interactive art, a funfair, magicians, crazy installations, cabaret and busking stages offering dance troupes, live music, comedy, spoken word and theatre.

Wherever you lie on the musical spectrum, Parklife's indie and electronic mash-up most certainly has it covered.
