From its beginnings in waterside buildings to its current status of national renown, Fiesta des Suds has across its three decades become an integral part of Marseille's cultural identity.
A three day celebration of international and musical diversity, the festival brings together rock, pop, electronica, Afrobeat, kuduro reggae, folk and world music, culminating in a musical celebration for 40,000 festival-goers in the beautiful marine setting of the Esplanade J4.

Fiesta des Suds takes place on the seaside MUCEM Esplanade, an arts space and concert venue created when Marseille was the European City of Culture in 2013.

BY PLANE: The closest airport is Marseille Provence. From there a train to the festival site (Arenc Euroméditerranée station) will take 20 minutes. Alternatively, a bus will also take you directly to the festival (Arenc le Silo) taking 40 minutes.
BY TRAIN: From Gare Marseille Saint Charles, the M2 metro will get you to within 5 minutes walk of the festival. Alternatively, it is approximately a 2 mile walk so would only take around 40 minutes.
