Portugal's biggest pop culture festival
:quality(40)/www/photos/5681-poster.jpg)
Held in Oeiras to the west of Lisbon, Comic Con Portugal is the country's largest pop culture festival, hosting several areas that cover film and television, video games, comics, anime, cosplay, music, and YouTube.
On site, visitors can get autographs, attend Q&As and meet-and-greets, and get pictures taken with national and international stars, as well as meeting cartoonists, illustrators and authors and discussing their creations.
What's more, fans will also have the chance to see the latest games, participate in tournaments, and win prizes in the gaming area, and also buy special edition comics and books, collectibles, action figures and more.
Topping this all off and creating the typically vibrant atmosphere is cosplay, as everyone is invited to dress up as their favourite characters, with the best costumes rewarded in the 'Heroes of Cosplay' contest each day.
