Bergenfest 2020 has been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. Ticket-holders will have the option of rolling their ticket over to 2021's edition. You can read the full statement from the festival here.

Bergenfest is one of Norway's oldest and leading music festivals, consistently showcasing its diverse lineup in the beautiful city of Bergen for over 25 years.
Since its inception all those years ago, Bergenfest has gone onto welcome some of the biggest artists in the worlds of rock, pop, hip-hop and more, including Bon Iver, Patti Smith, Queens of the Stone Age and Liam Gallagher.
Situated in the heart of the city, at the North end of the UNESCO World Heritage site Bryggen, Bergenfest takes place in the picturesque and historic surroundings of Bergenhus Fortress.

Bergenhus Fortress provides a unique and incredible festival venue, with sections dating back to the 1500s and huge lawn spaces surrounding the fortress itself.

FAQs
BY PLANE: There are daily international flights to Bergen from London, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Amsterdam. Bergen Airport Flesland is situated approximately 20 minutes from downtown Bergen. Taxis from the airport to the festival site should take around 20 minutes and cost approximately £25 (300 NOK).
You must be at least 18 to attend the festival unaccompanied. However, those aged 15, 16 or 17 may attend if accompanied by an adult over 23. Each adult over 23 may be responsible for up to two people.
