The world's biggest Afrobeats festival
:quality(40)/www/photos/ANP_poster.jpg)
Afro Nation Portugal is a festival of Afrobeats, hip-hop, R&B, dancehall, amapiano, Afrohouse and more held each summer on the beautiful Praia da Rocha beach, just south of Portimão.
After having to postpone two consecutive editions, Afro Nation is raring to go again as it returns to the sunny shores of Portugal for another weekend in the company of some of the world's biggest artists.
Sustainability:
Afro Nation's African Tree Planting Initiative: Afro Nation are thrilled to announce their partnership with C Free where they will be planting a tree for every Afro Nation Portugal 2022 ticket sold. They're planting native tree species in Madagascar and Kenya. Many of the trees they are planting are mangroves as they help reinstate soil stabilisation, improve the quality of the water, and provide a natural habitat for fish and other rare sea creatures. Mangroves are also fantastic carbon sinks and (pound for pound) remove four times more carbon than rainforests.
