NYC indie icons The Strokes kickstarted an entire generation of music, inspiring countless teenagers across the globe to pick up guitars and start bands.

Nearly two decades on from the release of their seminal debut Is This It, the group – fronted by Julian Casablancas – remain a hugely respected fixture of the alternative music scene, and their position in the upper echelons of indie-rock has seen them headline festivals across the globe – from Lollapalooza to Leeds, Reading to Roskilde, FIB to Fuji Rock.
