The Killers
The Killers have headlined a number of festivals including Isle of Wight Festival, TRNSMT, Festival Estéreo Picnic, and Glastonbury. With a mix of 80s-style synth-pop and fashionista charm The Killers have earned worldwide success with five consecutive chart topping albums.
Formed in 2001 and following their multi-platinum 2004 debut album Hot Fuss, the Las Vegas four-piece was catapulted into the international spotlight. Hot Fuss became the decade's biggest release spawning four hit singles, including their most enduring hit 'Mr Brightside'.
The band has received countless accolades for their artistic achievement, including multiple Grammy nominations, American Music Award nominations, MTV Video Music Awards, NME Awards and more. Hot Fuss earned the band five Grammy nominations, while their second studio album Sam's Town saw the band walk away with a further four NME Awards and one BRIT Award both for Best International Band.
Whether it's down to the confidence of front man Brendon Flowers or their countless indie pop classics, The Killers quickly earned themselves a place alongside fellow indie/post-punk revivalists Interpol, Rapture and The Strokes.
The Killers 2008 album Day & Age saw the band headlining some of America's most prestigious festivals including Lollapalooza and Coachella, as well as selling out Madison Square Garden for the third time, only one year after their legendary performance on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.
