Sven Väth

Four decades on from his first summer on the world-famous party island of Ibiza, techno pioneer Sven Väth remains one of underground electronic music's most enduring and endearing figures.

From his earliest DJing experience in the 1980s, often in the city of Frankfurt, through to establishing his Cocoon brand in 1996, and becoming a regular at iconic festivals and events like Time Warp, Sonus, DGTL, Tomorrowland, and Love Family Park, there aren't many people in the techno world that can boast the level of experience and respect as the man they call Papa Sven.
