Stereophonics

Stereophonics are a rock band that were formed in Wales in 1992. Their debut album “Word Gets Around” was released in 1997 and featured the singles "Local Boy in the Photograph", "More Life in a Tramps Vest" and "A Thousand Trees". In 1999 they released their second album “Performance and Cocktails” with the singles "The Bartender and the Thief", "Just Looking" and "Pick a Part That's New". Their third album, released in 2001, is called “Just Enough Education to Perform” and featured the hit singles "Mr. Writer", "Have a Nice Day" and "Handbags and Gladrags" (a song made popular by Rod Stewart). In 2005 they hit the UK number one single spot with “Dakota”, taken from their fifth album “Language. Sex. Violence. Other?”. The band have performed at many festivals, including Reading, Leeds, Glastonbury, V Festival, Isle of Wight and Latitude.
