Megadeth
Megadeth is an American heavy metal band that formed in 1983, in Los Angeles, California. The band’s first big selling album was 1990’s “Rust in Peace”, which was certified platinum (one million units) in the US. It contained the singles “Hangar 18” and “Holy Wars... The Punishment Due”. In 1992, they released “Countdown to Extinction”, selling two million copies in the US alone. Some of the band’s best known songs were included on the album, such as "Symphony of Destruction", "Sweating Bullets", and "Skin o' My Teeth". In total, Megadeth have sold 38 million records worldwide and won one Grammy Award. Megadeth have played many festivals, including Rock Fest Barcelona, Rock the Castle, Hellfest, Graspop Metal Meeting, Stone Free Festival, Summer Breeze Open Air, Bloodstock Open Air, Chicago Open Air, Rock Fest, Ozzfest, Download (UK and Paris), and Sweden Rock Festival.
