Music Festivals in Switzerland

Though the music in Switzerland is diverse today, in the 17th century folk and religious music were played and written the most often. Though well-known Swiss artists aren't generally well-known outside of Switzerland, they are terrific and can often be seen playing with the beautiful mountain backdrop.  

Swiss festivals include the likes of Montreux Jazz Festival, Openair Frauenfeld, Electron Festival, OpenAir St.Gallen and Zürich Openair.
