Music Festivals in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is not the place to see your typical Western music festival if that's what you're looking for. It's a great opportunity to immerse yourself in different cultures while still experiencing music - although quite likely music that you don't already know - many festivals honoring Buddhism and Hindu cultures and holidays. 

Sri Lankan festivals include the likes of Esala Perahera and Vel Festival.
