Music Festivals in Norway

The music scene in Norway is extremely diverse in terms of genre; from dubstep to folk to jazz. Despite how expensive the country is, there are lots of free big concerts throughout the year. Music events are especially prominent in the cities of Bergen and Oslo. 

Norwegian festivals include the likes of Sommerøya, Bergenfest and Øyafestivalen.

Artists such as Claptone, The Cure and Phoenix can be seen playing at a number of Norwegian festivals.
