Snow Patrol

Snow Patrol are a rock band that were formed in Dundee, Scotland in 1994. After two commercially unsuccessful albums, Snow Patrol hit the big time in 2003 with the release of their third album, “Final Straw”. This record contained the big hit singles “Spitting Games”, “Chocolate” and “Run” (later covered by X-Factor winner Leona Lewis). The album has now sold over 3 million copies worldwide. In 2006, the band released “Eyes Open”, featuring the single “Chasing Cars”, which helped shift 6 millions copies of the album worldwide. Further album releases have included “A Hundred Million Suns”, “Fallen Empires” and “Wildness”. The band have also been nominated for six Brit Awards and won seven Meteor Music Awards. In July 2006, Snow Patrol were the final act to play on the BBC music show “Top of the Pops”, where they performed “Chasing Cars”. They have also performed at Live Earth, Isle of Wight Festival and NOS Alive.
