After nearly 25 years in the heavy metal world, it's fair to say that Slipknot are one of the most famous and instantly recognisable bands in the scene.

Part of that recognition comes from that now iconic masks, which form an integral part of the band's identity, aura and presence. And this is translated into famously high-energy, chaotic and anarchic live shows that have captivated fans across the globe over the last quarter of a century.

Having topped the bill at the legendary Download Festival on more than one occasion in the past, an announcement in late 2018 confirmed that the summer of 2019 was to be arguably the biggest of the band's career to date – with headline appearances at a number of festivals across Europe.
